Yes, it is that time of year again, where we science fiction and fantasy writers list all the award-qualifying stories we published this year.

I published (in a rather extraordinary period of production for me, one of the slowest writers I know) five science fiction stories in 2019. They are:

"Fire in the Bone" in Clarkesworld  January 2019 with an audio version here
"The Ocean Between the Leaves" (novelette) in the July/August 2019 issue of Asimov's. You can listen to audio of the story here
"Beyond the High Altar" (short story) is in the September issue of Nightmare with an audio version here
"The Death of Fire Station 10" (short story)  is in Lightspeed magazine's October Issue with an audio version here
And finally "The Disintegration Loops," (novelette) which is currently in the November / December 2019 issue of Asimov's

It was quite a year, and I am very grateful to Sheila Williams, Neil Clarke, and John Joseph Adams for their faith in my work. I'm not particularly interested in being nominated for awards I have no chance of winning, but what I would love is for my community to read my work -- so, if you have not checked it out yet, please do! And here's to 2020 -- I have four stories lined up for 2020 so far: two in Asimov's, one in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction (F&SF), and one in Lightspeed. Onward!
